- Loss, Grief
- Family Conflicts
- Work Conflicts
- Critical Incident Stress
- Any Emotional Crisis

Who is eligible to receive EAP services?
All employees and their dependents - spouses and
children. Specifically, any employee or dependent who
qualifies for insurance benefits is eligible to
receive EAP services. So anyone who qualifies to be
covered through the employee health plan regardless of
whether they chose to actually be covered is eligible
for EAP services.
How many sessions can I have?
You are eligible to receive up to 6 sessions during a
12 month period or rotating year. For example. if you
first use your sessions beginning in May of one year,
you will not be eligible for additional sessions until
the following May. If you started in February of one
year, you will not be eligible for additional sessions
until the following February.
What do I need to do to get EAP services? How do I contact the EAP?

What can I expect when I call the EAP?
Upon contacting the EAP, you will receive a brief
phone intake to obtain demographic information and to
clarify the type of services needed. An EAP clinician
will then return your call as soon as possible to
schedule an appointment. A voice mail service is
provided for after-hours calls and when staff is not
available.
What if I have an emergency?
Emergency coverage is available 24 hours a day, 7 days
a week. Simply call the EAP Office at (512) 930-0884.
A pager number will be provided on the voice mail
message which you can call to notify our on-call
staff.
Are EAP services confidential?
All EAP services are strictly confidential. No
information of any kind can be released without your
written consent.
Do I need to bring anything with me to the first session?
If you would like, you can download the EAP Statement
of Understanding Form (word / pdf) and Intake Form (word / pdf).
Complete them both and bring them with you to the
first session.
If not, these forsm will need to be filled out at the
first session.
I am currently seeing a therapist. Can the EAP pay for this service?
No. The EAP is provided by an established staff of
clinicians. To utilized EAP services, you will need
to utilize one of these clinicians.
Will the EAP bill me for services?
No. The EAP is a service provided to you by your
employer. All EAP sessions are provided at no charge
to you.
Can I continue receiving services beyond my 6 EAP sessions?
If you want or need to continue services beyond the 6
EAP sessions, you will need to arrange to pay for
these services. In most cases, your health insurance
benefits will cover part of this expense. Your EAP
clinician and Employee Benefits Department will
provide you with information about specific health
coverage benefits.
Who or what is P.A.C.T.?
P.A.C.T. is short for Professional Assistance of
Central Texas. P.A.C.T. is the service provider for
the Williamson County EAP. We are a group of
professional therapists and trainers who have a wide
variety of expertise in providing psychological,
educational and organizational services. All our
staff work and live in Williamson County and are
